Vineyard
Vintage
2024 saw an accumulation of rainfalls 50% higher than the past 20 years average, making it a vintage of resilience. The severe pressure from cryptogamic diseases really put us to the test. Meticulous bud thinning, careful leaf removal to aerate the bunches, and green harvesting enabled us to achieve good natural ripeness.
Winemaking
Wine-making process
Hand-picked grapes, spontaneous fermentation from native yeasts. Aged for 8 months on lees in stainless steel tanks with regular stirring, to achieve the roundness needed to balance the vintage's freshness. Malolactic fermentation completed.
Bottled in May 2025.
Tasting Notes
Apple and pear aromas with white flowers and a touch of spice. The palate is juicy, lively and generous through the middle, with Chenin's bright, energetic acidity in balance. A clean, saline finish shows the purity and precision of fruit grown on tuffeau.
