2025 Scary Gully Chardonnay
Scary Gully has shallow, rocky soils and is our highest and coolest site. The 2025 Chardonnay balances subtle minerality with lime, fennel seed and white peach. It is driven and distinctive, with a restraint that reflects this special Adelaide Hills vineyard.

Winemaking
Vinification
Whole bunches were pressed to tank and settled overnight before the wine was racked off heavy solids to barrel. The wine spent 12 months in French oak, 25% new, followed by three months in tank before bottling.
Tasting Notes
Pale and bright. Lime, white peach and fennel seed on the nose, with alpine herbs and a stony, mineral edge. The palate is driven and restrained rather than bold, with citrus and stone fruit carried by fine, cool acidity. Distinctive and tightly focused, finishing long and saline.
