2026 The Green Room
The Green Room is the Grancari vineyard, farmed by the Ochotas' old friend Rino and tucked behind suburbia in the Onkaparinga Hills. It is also the place a surfer wants to be inside the barrel of a wave. Bottled in clear glass to show the fruit as it is.

- About 25% whole bunch, 12 days on skins, four months in old French barriques.

Winemaking
Hand picked over two weeks in mid to late February. Five days of cold soak before a wild ferment, with about 25% of the fruit fermented as whole bunches. Gently foot stomped and basket pressed after 12 days to old French barriques for four months, then blended and settled in tank. Bottled with a small sulphite addition and a pad filtration. No fining.
Tasting Notes
Highly perfumed, with stewed plum, garden herbs and a crack of white pepper. Light on its feet at 11.2%, the palate is savoury and fresh, with tart red fruit, pomegranate tang and fine, dusty tannins. More Pinot than Grenache in weight, with a long, spicy finish.
