Winemaking
Sorted at the winery, then a three-day cold soak. Indigenous fermentation and 22 days on skins in all, with gravity pump-overs and a couple of foot punch-downs at the end. Press wine kept apart. Natural malolactic in barrel and 20 months' ageing in barrel. No fining or filtration.
Tasting Notes
Dark berry fruit on the nose with an earthy, savoury streak and a sanguine edge. Dry and medium bodied, the palate is racy and energetic, with well knit tannins and fresh acidity. A transparent, slightly wild Pinot Noir with a fresh, savoury finish.
