2022 Côt Le Poira
A ruby colour that sparkles with purple tints, showing bright intensity and perfect clarity.
The nose is remarkably powerful, revealing captivating aromas of black fruit, dominated by notes of blackcurrant and blueberry. As the wine breathes, it also reveals subtle hints of spice that add a further dimension to its bouquet.
On the palate, this cuvée opens with a lively, dynamic attack and a burst of fruit flavours. The generosity of our Côt also shows in remarkable breadth, wrapping the palate in velvety softness. Yet this wine also knows how to keep its balance, avoiding any excess of tannin to give a harmonious finish that leaves a lasting impression.
Our Côt represents the richness of the region, with its combination of intense black fruit and spice and a balanced structure.

Tasting Notes
Food
Served at 15 to 17°C, our Malbec opens up many food pairings. With its rich aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and spice, match it with grilled duck breast, where the depth of the black fruit and the wine's balanced structure complement the juicy meat. For a vegetarian option, choose aubergines stuffed with Mediterranean herbs to bring out the wine's spice notes. For a more traditional pairing, a platter of aged cheeses, especially soft, creamy cheeses, will reveal the full range of this Malbec's aromas.
