Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shines pale gold. Aromatically, it opens with white peach, honeysuckle and hazelnut. Layered with hay, ginger, and a whisper of salinity. The palate is glossy, medium bodied, and fresh. with a savoury edge, shaped by extended lees contact and gentle barrel stirring through spring.
Dry and medium-bodied, it's a Pinot Gris that's layered, quietly rich and confidently restrained. It's my favourite Gris that I've made. Great balance and just delicious.
