Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris from the limestone country of Mount Gambier and Henty.
Pa Pa draws on two cool corners of the Limestone Coast: Mount Gambier in South Australia and Heywood in Henty, just over the Victorian border. Both sit on limestone country within reach of the Southern Ocean, where the long, cool season keeps the Pinot fine and the Gris fresh.
Pa Pa is run by Chris Rowland. It is a virtual winery: the fruit is grown by Limestone Coast growers, the wines are made under contract and the label puts its money into the vineyards rather than a cellar door.
