2018 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spätlese
Weingut Schloss Lieser, Mosel, Germany
This wine is a classic, fine-fruited Spätlese. Very fine and full of finesse, yet complex and full of power. Delicate notes of stone fruit combined with the usual great slate minerality. A great interplay of racy acidity, expressive fruit and light residual sweetness.

Tasting Notes
Light gold, with some development at this age. The nose shows ripe peach, apricot and citrus, with honeyed notes and smoky slate. The palate is fine and delicate yet powerful, racy acidity balancing the residual sweetness, with stone fruit and spice building through to a long, mineral finish. Drink now to 2035.
